About me:

I am a member of the Star Wars Generation; I was mesmerized by Lucas' film during its original theatrical release. So began my nerdly ways. As an avid early adopter of new technologies I watched in awe as we went from 2400 baud modems to the broadband connections of today.

By my early 30s the tech race was too much for me to keep up with and I discovered another love; ballroom dancing. I took up Tango and soon discovered an affinity for the Cha-Cha. Sadly, the studio I frequented closed and I've hung up my dancing shoes for now.

As of late my time is filled entertaining my 65 pound foxhound Molly and my wonderful girlfriend Sherri. We enjoy traveling to the north of our beautiful state and visiting our favorite Casinos as well as visiting family in Dearborn, Douglas and San Francisco California.

Dear Greg, just a quick note to say how pleasant our experience at Betten Imports was recently. We purchased a used Passat recently for our most recent driver in the family, and naturally she was very excited. However, the experience of looking for a car, what to look for, and how to speak with people about such a purchase was every bit as important as the purchase itself. That's where Eric Divelbiss, with the assistance of Doug Mosier, helped to make the learning moment for our daughter memorable. Eric was extremely patient and helpful, helping to explain to our sixteen year-old everything from the vehicle itself, to the process of bringing it in for maintenance. After approving the sale, Doug took the time to introduce himself to our daughter, making sure that she understood that Betten was there to help if she had any questions. Eric also helped to make the purchase a little bit of a surprise, even staying after hours to complete the delivery. It's because of this that I will definitely be back when the time comes for Dad to get a new vehicle!
