Why you should buy a car from me:

I've been here 30 years. So I'll be here when you need me even if it is just to give you a free car wash.  I have always made it a point to continue the relationship well beyond the sale.  In fact, I have one client who calls it 'Perpetual Care'.   There's no way I could have stayed at Betten all these years without being loyal to my clients and vice versa.

Why do you choose to work here?

When I was 7 years old I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up.  I told them I wanted to play saxophone in a rock and roll band.  I did.  I played with a number of big name acts from Motown to Big Band Jazz.  I also had my own band playing sax/flute/guitar/keyboards/percussion.  I still play in 2 different groups currently.

I hold advanced degrees in saxophone performance, comparative religion and ethics.

When I came to work at Betten Imports I was on a break from touring and was looking for a little income until I went back to playing music.  After 60 days of selling cars I realized it was an easy way to make money plus I had regular hours and benefits! Cars were great!  Customers were great! My wife was glad to have me home!   Although music is like a drug for me - I am addicted to it and always will be - the Mercedes-Benz, Volvo and Volkswagen business is in my blood as well.

Outside of music and Betten Imports my interests include being active in my church, gardening, passage meditation and I am an avid reader.

I've been married to my wife and best friend since April 1972.
