Dear Mr. Hofmeyer,

Thank you for your recent "birthday" greetings to Omar.  We so enjoyed meeting you, your fellow staff members, and purchasing our S320 from Betten Imports in December 2008.  We put the car to the test by driving to Gulf Shores, Alabama in April 2009 for Spring Break.  We have driven many times the ca. 1,000 miles to the Gulf, but never had the trip been so enjoyable.  The Mercedes performed beautifully and we had a wonderful vacation.

I wanted to write and let you know that Omar passed away suddenly the second week of April.  I am happy that he had the opportunity to meet you and the staff at Betten Imports.  We talked frequently about how impressed we were with your service, knowledge of German autos, and how important it is to provide quality service for quality autos.  It reminded us of having our car serviced in Germany when we lived in Germany many years ago.

Omar fully intended to drive to Grand Rapids to have the car serviced as we were not happy with the local Mercedes dealership due to prior experiences with their poor service.  I will be contacting you in the near future to schedule a check-up.

Thank you again for making our experience with Betten imports a most enjoyable one!
